Douay Bible - Job Chapter 25

Job 25:1
Then Baldad the Suhite answered, and I said:

Job 25:2
Power and terror are with him, who maketh peace in his high places.

Job 25:3
Is there any numbering of his soldiers? and upon whom shall not his light arise?

Job 25:4
Can man be justified compared with God, or he that is born of a woman appear clean?

Job 25:5
Behold even the moon doth not shine, and the stars are not pure in his sight.

Job 25:6
How much less man that is rottenness and the son of man who is a worm?

Proverbs 12:1 He that loveth correction, loveth knowledge: but he that hateth reproof is foolish. Judith 11:1 Then Holofernes said to her: Be of good comfort, and fear not in thy heart: for I have never hurt a man that was willing to serve Nabuchodonosor the king.
